Welcome to Mount Morris Rotary!
What would it take to change the world? Rotary International is the world’s first service club organization, with more than 1.2 million members in 33,000 clubs worldwide. Rotary club members are volunteers who work locally, regionally, and internationally to combat hunger, improve health and sanitation, provide education and job training, promote peace, and eradicate polio.
Our club is in beautiful Mount Morris, NY. Founded in 1818, the Town of Mount Morris is named after Robert Morris, a financier of the American Revolution. Located in the historic Genesee Valley in Livingston County, Mount Morris is approximately 35 miles South of Rochester, New York. The Village of Mount Morris is located in the Northern portion of the Town.
The quality of life in any community is in great part measured by the individuals in that community giving of themselves to enhance that quality of life. Mount Morris Rotary is proud of its involvement in making Mount Morris an even better place to live and do business.
Under the sponsorship of the Perry Rotary Club, the Mount Morris Rotary Club was chartered in 1931, and is dedicated to “giving back” to the community under the motto of “Service Above Self.”
